Today, at the press conference at the Belgrade Fair, the 43rd International Tourism Fair was announced, which will be held from 24-27. March under the slogan "Between the mountains and the sea". As part of this fair event, the 17th International Fair of Hotel and Catering Equipment Horeca (March 24-27) will be held in halls 2A and 2C, as well as the 12th International Wine Fair Beowine from 25-26. March in halls 3 and 3A.
 

Over 40 domestic and foreign tour operators will participate in the Tourism Fair in halls 1 and 4 of the Belgrade Fair: travel agencies, associations and organizations, hotels, tourist centers, international tour operators… Lasta's travel agency will present its tourist offer at the stand in hall 1, in the position it held before the 2020 pandemic.

 

For the first time, Malaysia is participating in the fair with its rich tourist offer, and the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe, which are two islands in the Gulf of Guinea in Central Africa. Assistant Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Jelena Milenković Orlić assessed that this is a good opportunity for the ministry to develop cooperation with other countries and announced that seven tourism ministers from the region and the world will come to the tourism fair. She pointed out that the fair is important because it is one of the first manifestations of this type to be organized in this part of the world after the beginning of the pandemic.

The Provincial Secretary for Economy and Tourism of Vojvodina, Nenad Ivanišević, announced two important contents that will present Vojvodina. One is religious tourism and is organized for the first time, and the other is the Tour de Fruška, which includes a tour of Fruška Gora by bicycle and the plan is to make it traditional. He added that based on the special agreement that the Provincial Government signed with Angola, this country will be a guest at the Vojvodina part of the fair.

According to the words of the director of the Tourist Organization of Serbia, Marija Labović, this organization will perform at the tourism fair under the slogan "SERBIA". Experience! ”, Which is also a new brand of Serbia as a tourist destination. Serbia needs to be experienced in order to feel the overall spirit of its culture, tradition, history, nature and people. As announced by the director of the Belgrade Tourist Organization Miodrag Popović, the City of Belgrade will organize a presentation of Belgrade municipalities, and those who come to the fair will have the opportunity to premiere a series of new, short tourist films about the capital's most important tourist attractions.

The tourism fair will create an environment in which supply and demand will merge, where the organization will focus on business contacts from the country, the region, as well as traditional markets where our people travel and those where most tourists come from.The ceremonial opening of the event is on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at 4 pm in Hall 5 of the Belgrade Fair.
